Sandra Schultze is the creator of a collection of animated shorts, Sexperiences, for which she gathered a group of skilled women filmmakers, scriptwriters and graphic designers from all over the world. The first movie released from this collection is the multi-distinguished movie Tram, with Michaela Pavlatova, which was nominated for over a hundred festival selections and numerous prizes, it won the Cristal Award in Annecy in 2012 and was shortlisted at the Oscars. The film received the Cristal Award in Annecy 2012, was screened in Cannes and short-listed at the Oscars 2013.

Sandra Schultze came to animation through a very personal path. After graduating school, she dropped the idea of art studies and chose literature.

After studying, she left France and travelled around Asia for a year with a camera in her backpack, and the will to report what she saw. On returning, she studied editing at the Gobelins School and started to work as an editor and graphic designer for French television and other companies.

However, the idea of art never left her and she started to conceive animation projects for adults and children independently, entering the fantastic world of animation on tiptoes. She also conducts workshops in schools with children, and has been member of the jury at the Paris Festival of Animation Shortfilm in 2012.
