Cultural manager, experienced team leader and music enthusiast, Vitor Belho is committed to the vision of cultural diversity, having been a proponent for music, culture and arts as a tool for social innovation, social change and social development.

Vitor has been in the music business for the last 25 years as a manager, agent, booker, and has also worked on designing music festivals and developing internalisation strategies in his home, Galicia, Spain. The last two years have seen Vitor's immense involvement as a local partner in organising the XX edition of WOMEX in Santiago de Compostela, Galicia – the most recent edition, WOMEX14, having been one of the busiest and most successful in recent years.

His organisation, Nordesia, is named after a poetic concept in Galician, which means 'cool north wind' – a symbol in Galicia for freshness and change. With a name befitting the company's aim as far as the music scene goes, Nordesia discloses artistic and musical talent around the world, taking it from local to global, and from global to local. The company organises festivals, music programmes and music meetings, as tools for music exchanges and professional networking for internalisation.

Nordesía was the local partner company for organising WOMEX14 earlier this year.
