He is the Former Managing Director, Digital at DisneyUTV and has about 16 years of experience in the media and technology space. Before the acquisition by Disney, Samir was the Chief Operating Officer of Indiagames, which he was associated with in different roles since 1999 as investor, advisor and finally COO. Prior to running Indigames, he was a Vice President at Ernst & Young, India’s M&A practice which he joined after spending a few years in the venture capital business.
Samir is also the Founding Co-chair of h2- a global nework of internet and technology professionals and a mentor/investor in GSF (Global SuperangelsForum)
Qyuki is a Shekhar Kapur, AR Rahman and Samir Bangara initiative. Qyuki helps creators build their fan following by producing and distributing videos with the aim to create enduring intellectual properties. Qyuki aims to democratize creativity.
